I went that route because the first two years in college are basically general education and I had to pay my own way through college. After completing community college with a 4.0 average, I got a full ride to UCLA.

how was CC life?

 

Because it's an all around better way to go. You save money, the classes transfer and honestly you meet some great people there that you wouldn't meet at a normal college or university.
I have a friend that went to CC for 2 years because his parents wouldn't support putting him through college and he did a bunch of academic programs there. Now he's going to Brown University for less than he was going to CC for because of his grades and everything he did.
