How? I'm not saying I'm not going to like a person based on their musical taste I'm saying it's just a big part of who they are. I have friends in screamo bands and shit and it doesn't bother me it just says a lot about who they are.

But music is subjective lol. Also not everyone has music as big a priority in life so they just listen to what they hear and particularly enjoy. Be that Slipknot or Tyga or whatever. Personally I'd prefer hanging with friends who don't care about music because then they're usually the types who want only to listen to/talk about music or some dumb shit lol
