I was trying to play Halo yesterday (after already playing a couple of hours before) and the game won't play for some reason. It makes the noises like normally, but then stops (less noise doe). Then all I get is a black screen and when I try to turn of console via controller it won't go. Plus I can't go back to main menu via that either. Tried with other games, nothing.

Cleared cache of storage, nothing, did some stuff people recommended on youtube, nothing. Apparently it reads fine, because it tells me the name of the game etc on main menu, but does nothing afterwards. Anyone have a clue (srs plz)

And yes, I still have a 360.

If so, try playing the game offline. If it works that means it's on Xbox Live's side since they check games for verification before being ran.

Tried it without Ethernet connection...sure enough it's working fine now

There's a post in this topic with a link. Basically its xboxs fault, turn off your internet connection to the Xbox and the games work fine. If you want connect again and you can Also play online
