I don't get all the hate on Welcome to the Jungle's beat.

I feel ya, production is what hurt this album more than anything, beats overproduced garbage apart from new day and murder to excellence, lyrically it ain't kanyes worst it aint even hovs worst

You are easily impressed. This is a lyrical gem

eh, as of right now, i still say Kendrick Lamar's "Section.80" is the best hip-hop album of this year, while The Weeknd's "House of Balloons" and Bon Iver's album is the best two albums of 2011

don't get me wrong, i appreciate the fact that two of my favorite artists actually made a collab album; that alone makes one excited and all you can do is just sit back and marvel with the moment; i was excited for the album, but i kept my expectations at an even keel and just took WTT as it is, a freakin album that FUCKIN KNOCKS from two of the biggest artists; still need to listen to it more, may need to stop listening to it as of right now so that when i do get back to listening to it, i will have fresh ears and mind for it, but yea, i still need evaluate it and how it compares to other good albums from this year, like Adele's CD, or My Morning Jacket's "Circuital"

and for the record, Kanye's MBDTF is still better than WTT, actually way better, in my opinion of course; but WTT does do for me as of right now is make me pretty excited for Jay-Z's upcoming solo album

I can dig this. And also, the new morning jacket album isn't too great imo.

And I'd say WTT is better than Section 80, but I love them both.

uh.......no

the album has grown on me but only cause it's a banger. the lyrics are the weakest point of this album

IMO the only lyrically weak songs are Lift Off and maybe ****** in Paris.

He's saying the production was too good. It outshined the artists which it does in some songs.
