WTT Gets Better With Each Spin

I searched for a while for a thread similar to this, but all I wanted to say is that I am on my 6th or 7th rotation of WTT and it has gotten better each time around.  I find myself discovering new lyrics, new transitions in the beats and generally just enjoying the songs more each time I hear them.  While the hype of a Jay-Z and Kanye album is near impossible to live up to, I don't think they missed the mark by much on this one.

Anyone else experiencing this?
There were a lot of haters on day 1 and 2...
Are you still disappointed with the album?

Album is definitely a grower and it sounds amazing in the car.

Great album tbh
It definitely does sound amazing in the car.
That's where I've done all my listening so far.
100 % agree with the OP.

WTT is so layered and dense, and you only appreciate it after multiple listens.

For example I wasn't into ****** in Paris but the "ah-ha" moment for me was hearing the first few words of Jay's verse "Ball So Hard" being used as a sample throughtout the rest of the song. I don't know why i didn't catch it the first time.

No you can tell they mess with it a little

Sometimes its "Bbball So, Ball so hard" it sounds really cool when you hear it. Little moments like that make it for me.

It is right. Jay's voice is one of the most sampled and it seems like its an homage to that.

Me too. Tbh I first thought the album is poop. Now I'm like addicted to it. I would not play it to my friends, but I'll enjoy it myself. :)

this.
Album has been on steady rotation since Sunday, but you're right about getting better and better.

I dig the amalgamation of old school hip hop sound --such as the soulful touch and sample usage-- with the innovative and maybe groundbreaking production found on other tracks.

Of course. The album has 2 channels. Surround sucks with music pretty much without exceptions.

Now i be like  :slick: when before I was like  :cmon:
