Alright my real good close chick friend right now is sorta depressed her dad is cheating on her mom her grandpa is dying her sister is having problems with her she couldn't go to this formal and on top of that she has a lot of homework. I was thinking to get her in a good mood maybe get her an edible arrangement or flowers. I know if I was sad she would do the same when I found out my mom had cancer she got me a card and banana pudding milkshake. Would you do this if you were me? Or is it too much I don't want her boyfriend thinking I'm trying to get with her

Tbh considering you're friends.. And she's going through a hard time. Her boyfriend would be a bit of a cunt if he got mad about that.

Do it. If her boyfriend doesn't like it, then he's doing a bad job as a boyfriend. So, if he's not doing anything, you do something. And when you do it, to show you're not trying to get with her, just say something like: only for a really good friend. Swag it out. Make her happy.
