He made his decision despite knowing he will get tons of hate for it. He knew he will get more boos than ever before when he enters opposing teams' arenas. He knew sports analysts will be more critical of him than ever before. He knew his former teammates might hold a grudge against him. He knew he would receive all this backlash.

Besides, there's going to be much more pressure on him and the Golden State Warriors to play well this coming season win another championship.

Why would you call him weak despite standing up against all these people and doing what he wants to do? It shows that he doesn't care what these people think, and that's what matters a lot. You folks having that hood mentality always want to hold people back. He's not a "sellout" for doing this. It took courage for him to do this. It's like how people in the hood don't want their friends to move out of the hood and do something better for themselves. Instead, they'd talk about how it's a "bitch move."

What's wrong with being a ring chaser? That don't make you a soft or a traitor. Teams nowadays have no loyalty so if you screw em you not betraying them
