That's like saying I pushed the due date for this homework assignment back as much as physically possible because I wanted "a really really really good paper".

The only thing I want, not a film, nor a free track each week, is Kanye West's 5th studio album, the finished product to be released when he claimed that it would be. I just think he should stop contradicting himself with his public statements regarding the album we, his fans have all been waiting for and thristing for info on... it's just bad form. I don't know why Im getting such backlash all around for throwing this out there. I'm not unappreciative, he works his ass off and delivers a boatload of things for his fans, I just question his judgment on what exactly they want/need. The album is what that is, more so than anything else.shev said:who cares, he doesn't owe us anything!
we're getting a free movie Saturday with a preview of the album,
what else do you want?
Jesus!

At some point, a body of work must be finished and left alone. Finalized after all tinkering, so it can be enjoyed faults and all, nothings perfect.8th Wonder said:As long as he makes everything perfect, does it really matter?

My point exactly, time and energy should be/shouldve been with the album's completion, not G.O.O.D. Friday.shev said:oh yea, how the hell could I forget?!
I'm anxious as fuck to hear the album, but seriously, we've had enough to hold us by!
I'd rather him finish the album off like he wants!
The only date he had given was November 16th - but even when he said November 16th he made sure to make it seem like it wasn't confirmed (ala 'I'm not supposed to say anything yet but were going for November 16th')...So I'm not sure what you're getting at - November 22nd is still the release date.Runaway Stronger said:The only thing I want, not a film, nor a free track each week, is Kanye West's 5th studio album, the finished product to be released when he claimed that it would be. he says hes gonna finish something by a certain date but realizes he still wants to work on it because he wants it to be perfectTito. said:What does that have to do with him being a liar/continually contradicting himself
Kanye being a perfectionist has nothing to do with when he did/has to turn in the album.
