Kanye to The banner

Why is Kanye blatantly contradicting previous statements he's made regarding the album's due date?

Nine days ago, Kanye said that the album must be submitted to the label in two days. Seven days later, on the day that he revealed the 'banned' album cover, he said that it was his last day to finish the album. Today, he said that he's working on his 33rd mix of "All of the Lights." His word should mean something, so why does he keep making himself look like a liar? Also, how is this shit still not finished if it's to be shipped to stores for a nationwide release on November 22nd? Is he power tripping? The final mixes obviously won't be featured in the "Runaway" film that MTV and BET have to already have in their possession.

Kanye is notorious for having multiple mixing engineers, like Stronger had about 8 mixing engineers until Manny finished it. He should hire Bruce and get it finished in one shot :dno:

Most mixing engineers especially have too many formulas and it isn't about the music. They just throw everything on track. Mixing is so critical, it's how your tracks or album is being presented. Of course Kanye would care, I wonder if he goes to the mastering sessions as well
The mixing done on Drake's Miss Me was horrible....Drake's voice was waaay too loud and the beat was waaaaay too low....
How Ye doin?

...I just couldn't fathom a push back at this point.

Hey that was 40 I think, yeah mixing engineers don't even use VU meters or any metering what so ever. It's sad really, they are like amateurs using a $500,000 recording studio

There isn't going to be a push back. Shut up. You don't know shit about the business either btw.

He also could possibly be doing the 33rd mix on All Of The Lights because it is the next single, you know getting it ready for radio/iTunes release and such.

Well who ever did it did a horrible job...At first I thought it was just the leaked version but then I heard the final version I was like WTF???
another possible situation is the album needed to be turned in for mastering, maybe the other tracks are already finished and theyve begun mastering that and All of the lights is the last one hes mixing so he'll finish that by the time they finish mastering the others?

You clearly know what I don't know though? Also, you seem so knowledgeable when it comes to shipping a massive amount of pressed packages containg records, album art and the time contraints of doing so. I shouldve known that you wouldve schooled me on the subject.

It's so bad like 98% of mixes on a lot of CDs. I'll give you some mixing engineers that mix very good like Tony Maserati, Alan Sides, Eddie Kramer, Bruce Swedien (who I got taught by), I like Manny Marroquin, he was the final mixing engineer on Stronger
he said he will work on his music and touch it up until someone comes and takes it away
good things come to those who wait, he is about an hour late

:problem?:

Stronger was mastered beautifully....who did the mastering for The-Dream's Love King because that person did a wonderful job...You can hear every instrument and the drums go hard....
The label is giving him deadlines because it's necessary to meet his release date. It's not unfair, they're just doing their jobs and trying to get the music where it needs to be, when it needs to be.
who cares, he doesn't owe us anything!
we're getting a free movie Saturday with a preview of the album,
what else do you want?
Jesus!

Hmm I'm not sure, probably a mastering engineer from Sterling Sound.

What does that have to do with him being a liar/continually contradicting himself

Kanye being a perfectionist has nothing to do with when he did/has to turn in the album.
