Why is Kanye blatantly contradicting previous statements he's made regarding the album's due date?

Nine days ago, Kanye said that the album must be submitted to the label in two days. Seven days later, on the day that he revealed the 'banned' album cover, he said that it was his last day to finish the album. Today, he said that he's working on his 33rd mix of "All of the Lights." His word should mean something, so why does he keep making himself look like a liar? Also, how is this shit still not finished if it's to be shipped to stores for a nationwide release on November 22nd? Is he power tripping? The final mixes obviously won't be featured in the "Runaway" film that MTV and BET have to already have in their possession.

So why announce these "deadlines" if they don't mean shit? I'm familiar with the business guys, if he wants the album to come out on Nov 22, it has to be done and handed in soon.

There isn't going to be a push back. Shut up. You don't know shit about the business either btw.

He also could possibly be doing the 33rd mix on All Of The Lights because it is the next single, you know getting it ready for radio/iTunes release and such.
You clearly know what I don't know though? Also, you seem so knowledgeable when it comes to shipping a massive amount of pressed packages containg records, album art and the time contraints of doing so. I shouldve known that you wouldve schooled me on the subject.
The label is giving him deadlines because it's necessary to meet his release date. It's not unfair, they're just doing their jobs and trying to get the music where it needs to be, when it needs to be.

who cares, he doesn't owe us anything!
we're getting a free movie Saturday with a preview of the album,
what else do you want?
Jesus!
The only thing I want, not a film, nor a free track each week, is Kanye West's 5th studio album, the finished product to be released when he claimed that it would be. I just think he should stop contradicting himself with his public statements regarding the album we, his fans have all been waiting for and thristing for info on... it's just bad form. I don't know why Im getting such backlash all around for throwing this out there. I'm not unappreciative, he works his ass off and delivers a boatload of things for his fans, I just question his judgment on what exactly they want/need. The album is what that is, more so than anything else.

As long as he makes everything perfect, does it really matter?
At some point, a body of work must be finished and left alone. Finalized after all tinkering, so it can be enjoyed faults and all, nothings perfect.

It's a bad thing to lower the value of your word.

oh yea, how the hell could I forget?!
I'm anxious as fuck to hear the album, but seriously, we've had enough to hold us by!
I'd rather him finish the album off like he wants!
My point exactly, time and energy should be/shouldve been with the album's completion, not G.O.O.D. Friday.

nobody besides you seems to care...

That's the sad part. I'm not too mad at Kanye for this, it just bugs me to see someone I respect do something morally wrong. I don't care who you are, don't go out of your way to inform someone something that you don't mean, and eventually contradict.

Everybody stop acting like Kanye has appointed you as his personal lap dogs. I'm sure that's not what he wants.
