VERY expensive unless you have 3 roommates, your rent will be around $600 for a crappy old apartment near school. Westwood is right next to Beverly Hills and Bel Air so it's very nice and exclusive.. USC is in a bad neighborhood, students are now relocating to Downtown to live in a better area. There is no cheap part of town in LA, lol. Unless you live in South LA and that you'll probably take 2+ hours on public transportation and an hour driving..

Well I mean it all depends on what you want.. I mean if you want to live in a studio in a crappy area, you can probably get something for $500. If you want to live in a 1br in a decent area, your probably looking at $900 and it just goes up with location, amenities, quality, etc.

It would kinda suck to lease a place and not live in it.. thats $700 a month that could be better spent elsewhere.
