I just wanna see what you guys think about the "sibling rivalry battles" for the songs on WTT.like who "Stole The Show" ....and by stole the show, I mean lyrics, flow, dilivery, Swagger, energy, charisma, Everything..who just went harder overall....

So here's mine:
1) No Church in the Wild: Kanye (Jay did his thing, but Kanye sounded flawless and hungry like he did on Dark Fantasy, he's really good with intro verses imo :dno: )
2. Lift Off: Jay-Z (Kanye's verse was so terrible, wtf was all that mumbling..so Jay wins by default, even tho his verse wasnt that good either)
3. ****** in Paris: Kanye  (Jay was cool, but Kanye verse reminds me of how he did on Start It Up, just the flow, humor, swagger just stole the show)
4. Otis: Tie...Edge: Jay-Z  (they both killed it, chemistry was on point, Jay had dem tripples tho :datass: )
5. Gotta Have It: Tie    (loved the chemistry in this song)
6. New Day: Kanye (his verse was just too REAL...Jay was good too tho)
7. That’s My Bitch: Tie..Edge: Kanye  (Kanye verse wasnt that much better than Jay's but his flow and delivery was on point so I'll give him the edge)
8. Welcome to the Jungle:  Jay-Z
9. Who Gon Stop Me: Jay-Z (Jay-Z SPAZZZED on the 2nd half of this song, omg :wom: )
10. Murder to Excellence: Kanye (as Jeezy would say, this is some of the realest shit Ye ever wrote..reminds of the old CD Ye content wise, but with a better flow and lyrics ofcourse)
11. Made in America: Tie (none of their verse were amazing on this song, but the subject matter was good...Frank Ocean really stole the show with that hook :smug: )
12. Why I Love You: Jay-Z (even though I can obviously say Jay wins the battle by default since Ye had like 2 lines lol Jay really killed his verses so yeah he deserved it)

Bonus Tracks
Jay-Z: H.A.M, Illest Motherfucker Alive
Kanye: The Joy, Primetime

So as expected Jay-Z did better overall, but Kanye held as his own and sometimes outshined Jay....THE END lol now you guys can do yours

Overall Jay outshined Kanye lyrically, but without Ye, the album would be nowhere near how good it is now and Ye still did really well.

He was a brilliant asset to this masterpiece. Not saying classic yet, but I'll say masterpiece.

Otis - Kanye
Gotta Have it - Kanye
New Day - Jay

They tied for me on a lot of them. I thought Ye was better but that's probably because I prefer him over Jay in general lol

I'mma do mine in parts :tash:

Songs where they had equal time:
No Church: Ye
Otis: Ye
Gotta Have It: Tie
New Day: Ye
That's My Bitch: Tie
Murder to Excellence: Ye
Made in America: Ye
Illest MF Alive: Tie
Primtime: Tie
HAM: Tie

Songs where Ye had more time:
****** in Paris: Ye
Lift Off: Tie for awfulness
The Joy: Ye

Songs where Jay had more time:
Welcome to the Jungle: Jay
Who Gon Stop Me: Jay
Why I Love You: Jay

Overall, I'd say Ye outshined Jay. When you look at it, Jay only had a stronger mic presence in the songs where he had more bars. And it feels like in those, he didn't body Ye through lyricism but through simply having more lyrics. When it was equal, Ye held his own and some times had the edge through his charismatic or personal lyrics and more energetic flow.

IMO Jay Z has nearly always bettered Yeezy on every song those two have ever been on together. Hell even on Kanye's debut, Jay was better than Yeezy on Never Let Me Down although they both lost to J. Ivy hilariously.

No Church- Tie (I'm still debating. They both had some amazing lines. I'd give the edge to Jay though)
Lift Off - Beyonce (She killed it,what more can I say?)
@#!*% In Paris- Tie
Otis- I enjoyed Kanye's verse more but Jay-Z had the triple so Jay-Z.
Gotta Have It- Kanye
New Day- Kanye (Kanye's verse was more raw and a thousand levels deeper than Jay's)
Thats My @#!*%- Tie (I think it was close)
Welcome To The Jungle- Jay-Z(Hands down, no competition kills it)
Who Gon Stop Me- Jay-Z
Murder To Excellence- Kanye (He really out shined Jay here. His verses were filled with better content)
Made In America- Kanye (Jay-Z was talking nonsense and being corny Kanye actually had something to say)
Why I Love You: Jay-Z.(Hard not to win when the whole song is basically him)

exactly how I feel, which is makes it confusing....Kanye "stole the show" on more songs imo, but Jay-Z had like triple the amount of bars than him.....like on Welcome to The Jungle & Why I Love You So (not saying that Jay didnt kill them) but Kanye barely said anything on those....same with I can Stop, Jay had like the whole 2nd part lol

so for a Jay-Z ft Kanye instead of Jay & Kanye album, Ye did his thing.....

If more songs were like Gotta Have, Otis, ****** in Paris, Murder To Excellence(they all have chemistry) this would have been have a fair battle tbh.....

but this album was like how Ye did on Power Remix, only this time Jay had like 3 verses to Kanye's 1 lol
