im not catching feelings cause you dont like FL. its the fact that you called it beginner software that ticked me off. who cares if its heavy on the CPU if you can handle? i dont make my own synths so i can argue there. so dont use the stock synths lol use a vst. the mixing works for me, i know how reason is said to be the king of mixing but like i said for what I use it for, FL works for me. its perfect for software dependent production, once i can afford a real studio, i'll switch over to actual hardware sound. my friend has like 9 shelves of keyboards the sounds are so fresh and quality. damn.Prince Al said:Wait, so I have a computer barely capable of running FL studio but I can run all those other DaWS perfectly, not to mention photoshop cs5?
*****, did even you read what I said? I said its heavy on the CPU, I didn't say my computer's gonna catch on fire.
The synths that come with it are ehhh, they don't give you much in terms of editing the paramaters when you're coming up with a synth or tweaking em. And like I've been saying, the mixing plugins are bad. The Parametric EQ 2's pretty good, but the rest are cheap to me.
And I've used it for over a year, so I think I've used it enough to know how it works and to say I'm not a hater.
I'm saying there are better programs, and I listed the reasons. Stop catchin feelings. Its like people take it personal anytime someone doesn't like FL Studio.
Soundfounts having sounds as good as Vst's ? Nahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, its not even close bro. You care to show me any decently sounding instrumental soundfont that comes close to a top level VST? I'd have to hear it or try it, because given what I know about instruments and how hard and expensive it is to sample those things, I doubt you can find a soundfont that's of equal quality for free. Its like a 1/10,000 chance tbh. They'd be retarded to give it away for free.d stoner said:what? lol most of the sound fonts i have eclipse the quality of the sounds ive found in sound kits... like its not even comparable. most of them match the vsts.
anyway i know a few ppl who started on reason (and still use it occasionally) but made the switch over to FL strictly for the plugins... theres no argument, theres no opinion here. FL has the better plugins, period.
personally, ive tried out reason, acid pro (acid pro didnt last long, shit was confusing as fuck) and FL, and fruity loops is by far my favorite. not only for the depth, but the simplicity of it.
Gonna try and hate on music that hasn't been hated on.... cool story bro. Good job at trying to take a personal shot though.d stoner said:and yeah i clicked your bandcamp lol take your L back and stop tryna act like your a pro.
i usto be on a site with tons, and tons of producer sound kits n shit... and the .sf2 i found on there were awesome... its not the same garbage u find with a simple google search... also i dont think they were meant to be free.Prince Al said:Soundfounts having sounds as good as Vst's ? i never said u said u were a pro. but u act like u've been doing this for decades, when your bandcamp says different, its sounds like you're a beginner.Prince Al said:Gonna try and hate on music that hasn't been hated on.... cool story bro. Good job at trying to take a personal shot though.
Never said I was a pro either. Go ahead and ctrl + f that if you don't believe me.![]()
cause I got called out and I didn't call anyone out.d stoner said:your the one catching all the feelings man.

and FL also has the most/best plugins out of all the programs.
All of those beats except for one were made within the first 4 months of producing, so I ain't even mad though.d stoner said:i never said u said u were a pro. but u act like u've been doing this for decades, when your bandcamp says different, its sounds like you're a beginner.
good to know lol u should probly update it.Prince Al said:All of those beats except for one were made within the first 4 months of producing, so I ain't even mad though.

If this was an essay, then I'd hate to see you have to read shakespeare, lolPrince Al said:How many tracks do you mix down on a song? How many virtual instruments you running through that thing? It depends on what you do on it. If you only do drums and samples, of course its gonna run smoothly.
And FL studio definitely doesn't have the best plugins. Neither in mixing or in sound. Reasons sounds are >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
I'm not even hating on FL Studio, its an easy to use program and give beginners alot of options for beginning, but there are some other things programs do alot better, so I think if you past the beginner point, you should look towards other options
why bother? your responses are more emotion filled than anything he could write.Prince Al said:If this was an essay, then I'd hate to see you have to read shakespeare, lol
Nah, I'm working on a big project. One with all of those instruments I was talking about. I'm more of a musician rather than a producer, so its like all of those other instruments aren't my strongpoint. My drums were weak, except only like one on there. I really only like 3 songs on there anyways.d stoner said:good to know lol u should probly update it.

Its cause I made the beats in FL studiod stoner said:its sounds like you're a beginner
tbh tho, this is exactly why i havent been fucking around with any 'producer' software... i find it very monotonous, meanwhile playing a real instrument is fun as fuck.Prince Al said:Nah, I'm working on a big project. But the whole idea is to record real instruments so I can get a more organic feel. That way, I can stick to composition, and working on arrangement and harmonies rather than focusing on doing it all on the computer.
What do you play?d stoner said:tbh tho, this is exactly why i havent been fucking around with any 'producer' software... i find it very monotonous, meanwhile playing a real instrument is fun as fuck.
a bit of piano (im not good, but i can learn songs if i try) and wind instruments... but the guitarPrince Al said:What do you play?
tbh tho, u can mix good, im jelly... i can make some sick beats, but i cant mix worth shit.Prince Al said:Its cause I made the beats in FL studio![]()
