So many other better programs besides FL Studio that are just as easy to get: Studio One, Reason/Record, Ableton, Logic, etc.

And not because of the sounds. There are other features that should be noted. What I've learned is the most important is that FL Studio is very heavy on the CPU for whatever reason and its project files are very large. Also, the mixing plugins and mixing interfact sucks as well. And don't get me started on input lag.
none of those programs except reason and logic have as much functionality as FL. the interface is an opinion and if you have ASIO4ALL or a decent sound card/computer then theres no performances/input issues. your computer must be pretty bad if FL is a problem on your CPU

It won't be a problem if you're only mixing 5-10 tracks, I mix way more then that on a song, so yeah, it uses alot of MY CPU power.

And I can definitely say you haven't used Ableton or Studio One if you're saying they don't have as much functionality as FL Studio. Definitely not the case. Alot more in those other programs. The only thing FL Studio has for is is the drum sequencer and ease of use.
lol. my projects have over 20 tracks at least, sometimes more. all computers, even ones under 400 come with a quad core. idk how long you used FL but anything I want to do/can do i can do with FL. i have abelton and I have watched the videos for StudioOne because I was considering getting it. You hate on FL when you barely have a computer capable of running it. you can create your own synths in FL so idk why you're calling it a beginner program. it has the power to expand into any level of expertise you want it to.

Wait, so I have a computer barely capable of running FL studio but I can run all those other DaWS perfectly, not to mention photoshop cs5?

*****, did even you read what I said? I said its heavy on the CPU, I didn't say my computer's gonna catch on fire.

The synths that come with it are ehhh, they don't give you much in terms of editing the paramaters when you're coming up with a synth or tweaking em. And like I've been saying, the mixing plugins are bad. The Parametric EQ 2's pretty good, but the rest are cheap to me.

And I've used it for over a year, so I think I've used it enough to know how it works and to say I'm not a hater.

I'm saying there are better programs, and I listed the reasons. Stop catchin feelings. Its like people take it personal anytime someone doesn't like FL Studio.
im not catching feelings cause you dont like FL. its the fact that you called it beginner software that ticked me off. who cares if its heavy on the CPU if you can handle? i dont make my own synths so i can argue there. so dont use the stock synths lol use a vst. the mixing works for me, i know how reason is said to be the king of mixing but like i said for what I use it for, FL works for me. its perfect for software dependent production, once i can afford a real studio, i'll switch over to actual hardware sound. my friend has like 9 shelves of keyboards the sounds are so fresh and quality. damn.
