i mean, if you give snyder some good material he's not too bad.

I liked Watchmen and I read the book beforehand (though I have to say, two things that he did put his directing touch on annoyed me:

1. acting of silk spectre
2. how they interpreted ozymandias' character. he should have been way more like robert redford but his new costume was sick.)

i've never seen 300 but I liked Watchmen. i'm not really down on the pick yet

Apparently Snyder wasn't the first choice but that they need to get this thing moving ASAP because of the whole Superman rights battle.

From the shortlist that leaked I would have loved to see Duncan Jones take on it, and then if those Aronofsky rumors are true then that would be truly badass. But Snyder will definitely come up with something visually stunning, which really is what you need when your working with a character on the scale of Superman.
