Did your parents still make you drive for a little bit with them until you can drive a lone? Because I got my license today and my dad said I need to drive with him still for a couple of days.

Yeah, it's WOAT. When I first got my whip, my parents said I couldn't have passengers so I had to hide that for awhile. It is what it is though, your parents crib, your parents rules.

yeah my dad was the same way and hes right. The driving you do with your instructor isn't enough, your still a really inexperienced driver then. After a month or so you start to get a hand of things

Nope, but I've been driving by myself before I had my license. My mom and one of my aunts also used the time period when I had my permit to be lazy bums and get chauffeured around.

drove my mom to my grandma and back and then I could use their car. Never had them sit next to me to check on me again.

My mom just wanted to make sure I could drive an automatic because I drove a clutch for my driving lessons.

When I got my own car I just drove.
