How about you don't make this thing into something its not, which is a classic album. Album still goes hard as a motherfucker, just not a classic. Still, an excellent album.

The album is excellent alone on production, Jay's verses (and some of Kanye's in which he goes HAM), and the fact that its an album between the two biggest forces in hip hop at the moment. But the album doesn't have the same punch that a lot of classic hip hop albums have, which is innovation.
I mean we've heard a lot of this before, Kanye's beats, Jay's rapping, and both of them together are fucking awesome. But I think thats what the album is always going to be remembered for. A Hov/Kanye collab. Its great, but I doubt it will be the definitive hip-hop album its cracked out to be.
That said, its just my opinion, and I think the album is great.

Album is great the way it is. Beside that 3 minute silence before Illest Motherfucker Alive, other then that the album is amazing!
