A classic album..is a lot more powerful than just the music itself. The TIMING of a classic album is what makes it classic think about when illmatic came out (and im not an illmatic fan) and the impact of its timing on rap music as a whole. It changed a lot of the sound of hip hop as a genre. Thats what a CLASSIC album does. But you don't know how classic an album is until you look at how it effects music years later. You ****** listen to an album for 5 times and decide whether its a classic. lol smh
