Sekiro: 9/10

Gameplay is fast and fun. The game did a great job of encouraging players to partake in blazing fast sword to sword combat that you often see in movies through two ways: letting enemy's regenerate "health" whenever they aren't in combat, and making parries do damage. The grand story was pretty straight forward and nothing to write home about but all the "hidden" lore that you glean from NPC comments, item descriptions, and the environment are incredible at at world building. Vertically incorporated into the level design was cool and gave a lot of options when it comes to navigating the map. All the bosses are cool as fuck, didn't feel like bullshit to fight against, had great designs, and had nice lore behind them.

Boring answer because I feel like this is everyone's answer but it's definitely Isshin, the Sword Saint. By far the most satisfying boss to fight against gameplay-wise. Special shoutouts to Guardian Ape and Owl (Father). I also have a soft spot for O'Rin of the Water and to a lesser extent, Armoured Warrior for lore reasons. How bout you?
Got the platinum trophy for Persona 5 a couple days ago. Only platinum trophy I have.

Definitely my favorite game of this generation. Can't wait for P5R

Swear I posted a reply to this but KTT on some other shit

Anyways, pretty much same, Sword Saint was one of the craziest bosses I ever faced and the satisfaction I felt after beating him ....:hhh:

Actually glad you mentioned O'Rin too because she my 2nd favourite right after Isshin even tho shes a mini boss, she fucked me up hella times too but she was just so fun to fight man, plus I just lover her whole aesthetic, the music during that fight was so eerie but the way she fought was beautiful as shit man :ffpu:

Just gonna bring this up too but Demon Of Hatred was woat, the camera during the fight had me mad as shit :dead:

Hell ya, everything about O'Rin was straight beautiful. I feel like the Emma fight would have been just as good, if not better than O'Rin but I missed out on it cause I stayed loyal to Kuro  :ffpu:

Emma fought  in like a really elegant and beautiful way too, if you ever get the chance try NG+, its a pretty crazy experience going through the game again because all those bosses that you spent hours trying to beat, you can now do it with ease. Really makes you feel like my mastered the sword and shit, and its just incredible seeing how far you came
Started playing the Surge, very entertaining.
Just beat Arkham Asylum, it's aged quite well :maybe: The story, combat, and stealth were kind of basic but the world and level design stuck out to me. About to start Arkham City, I hope the level design doesn't suffer from the series going open world.

Condemned is one of a kind. One of my fave horror games.
Just beat Arkham City. Improved on pretty much everything from Asylum, though It didn't gain much from going open world apart from flying (and there are way too many Riddler challenges).
aint played games in so so long, was thinking of getting Switch but im afraid it'll end up on my shelf right after I get it

that's what happened to me

I love my switch and the games on it but it's hard for me to motivate myself to actually sit down and play video games/watch a movie/whatever these days

wtf is wrong with me  :floyd:

although I did get some progress in in BOTW yesterday :whew:

The open world is full of dozens of Easter eggs and references to the DC universe. Aside from that, yeah there’s not too much.

There’s quite a lot of Riddler trophies, but at least you get to unlock stuff with them. And If you think there’s too much, we’ll be prepared once you play Arkham Knight lmao

I actually like the Riddler challenges (completed all of them in Asylum), but when there's this many it starts to feel like a chore.

Gonna start Arkham Knight once I play through Harley Quinn's Revenge.
