The project, originally known as Odds and Ends was first mentioned by Brian Bell on KROQ when Weezer performed on Kevin and Bean's morning show during the summer of 2008. Rivers Cuomo said that the tracks are "great songs, great recordings, but for some reason they didn't make the final cut for a record. And like the Alone record, they span a vast period of time from the very beginning of our career in the early '90s right up to the present day. But I have no idea when that would come out. It's just another fun project to do." The album is to be simultaneously released with the deluxe edition of Pinkerton.

I downloaded it yesterday.  Listened to like the first 5 tracks, didn't catch my attention.

I know it's just a rarities/b-sides album.. but Weezer has been slacking lately.  I haven't felt anything they've put out since the Red album..

i agree this release is fairly lackluster, but i really dig blowin' my stack, everyone, trampoline and unbreak my heart.  all great weezer.  blowin' my stack is catchy as hell.

the deluxe version of pinkerton actually leaked the other day, i fucking love that album and the unheard stuff on it is fantastic (even though i've heard most of the b-sides that they have on there).
