And the way ppl use the term makes no sense.. Bc it is only ever applied to ppl whenever you don't agree with what they're saying... It's just a deflection. A buzz word.

If somebody says something ppl like, they call them real, even if they say it in a preachy way. The word preachy has gotten a negative connotation for not good reasons

The word "preachy" has a negative connotation for a reason, and indicates that the person in question is under the impression that they are superior to others and have to guide people along the "right path".

people can only believe u are superior to them if you yourself believe it to be true, bc u are the one measuring.

I made the thread in response to J. Cole new music. A lot of ppl who listen to his music would say themselves that they'd like to live his life or at least that the life he's living is superior to their own

So even by their own measurement, if the person you think has "made it" gives you advice and says "you should do this" how can you criticize someone for giving advice. Advice that obviously works
