The Weeknd is essentially a one-man band comprised of Toronto-based, Canadian singer/songwriter Abel Tesfaye. On "Loft Music" he sings about being 20 years old, so we're gonna go ahead assume he's 20. A few critics have dubbed his particular brand of R&B as "hipster R&B" or "PBR&B" (we can't deny that one made us chuckle), but there has been debate over whether it's a legitimate term.

This is a live recording of The Weeknd's first performance on July 24st in the Mod Club, Toronto. All audio used is collected by ransom67and mixed by GJ of KanyeToThe.com. The audio is taken from the best available videos on YouTube and Vimeo and professionally mixed together. Loft Music wasn't available in good quality so that's why it isn't included and the intro of House of Balloons - Glass Table Girls wasn't available either, so that's replaced with the intro of the studiotrack.
