The only way Lupe can ever sellout...

...Is if he he abandons his positive messages in his songs completely. That's the only way. I don't know why this topic came to me, but it did and I felt like I had to make it clear.

The day Lupe starts rapping about carrying guns, fucking bitches, and having stacks is the day I stop listening to him. Yes, I know he talked about drugs and guns on his old mixtapes, but in an old interview for F&L he spoke about changing his message on his debut album because he would now be more popular and people would look up to him.

The whole thing of selling out is going against your morals in order to make profit. Some might argue that Lupe sold out on Lasers, but I say how could he? That record more than any other was his most personal, and a lot of the things he talked about on the record were real things. People are too caught up in the sound (and rightfully so, because it didn't sound like how we wanted it).

With Food & Liquor II, I am excited more than anything else to hear not the beats, not the features, but what Lupe RAPS about. I want to hear new concepts, new ideas, and more importantly, positive messages. I want to see him evolve as a thinker, a storyteller, and a person with this album. He's been at the top and recently he's been at the bottom, and honestly I don't see him truly selling out anytime soon.

Food and Liquor II is without a doubt THE MOST IMPORTANT hip-hop album set to be released in the future. Everything is riding on this album.

Lupe in a clip where two girls are kissing, I wonder how he would like it if one of them was his sister.
