And I don't understand why anyone thinks this. There is a Taylor vs. Ye thread in the Ye section, I thought I would make this here so as to not clog up that board. But I am sincerely interested in why anyone thinks Nicki Minaj has a chance of outselling Kanye West. Not only does Kanye West have a larger fanbase, he is far, far more famous, a household name, and there has been tenfold more hype for his album. I guarantee the average person doesn't even know who Nicki Minaj is. In due time, she could compete, but this time? I just don't think so.

And while I'm at it, I don't think anyone will sell more than Ye that week. The MJ thing is a DvD, so that doesn't really account. Justin Bieber's acoustic thing is the highest threat, but I am not even sure of the details on that, so I am not confident and saying he will either.

Everyone else is irrelevant.

But give me your opinions, I don't really know enough to make super concrete predictions. I do know, however, that Kanye West is huge, and this album is a big ass deal.

That didn't even occur to me...yeah if bonus tracks aren't on hard copies, FML, itunes it is. But Best Buy should have it.

i kinda want to get the album just for the covers but only if the "banned" cover is sold.
the thing i don't like about itunes is that toy can't open the booklet and look through them ya know

Exactly. I want a hard ass copy to play in my car, look through, and just have. This album is beyond a digital download, it is a masterpiece that everyone should be able to hold in their hands.

Ya but I just mean in terms of first week sales of each - I don't think he'll have a larger one than those both - he does have the potential if he drops AOTL asap and does some great performances at the EMA's + AMA's. Runaway is something that should keep the hype high for a while though
