I thought this would be a cool thread to have where fellow Christians can help one another. This could be a good place to ask questions and stuff. I'm a Christian but I dont know as much as I should.

Please dont hate and be respectful...

I hope everyone can be positive & respectful of others beliefs and views
This is a great thread.  I was actually thinking about starting a thread like this where you could also post like prayer requests and stuff.
Great Idea for a thread but i'd worry that it would just become a thread in which christians and non christians argue rather than be all about God and prayer requests etc.

Opening it up then, what sort of christians are people on here?  Give a testimony or watever, would be interesting to see how people became christians etc

You should start by attending church regularly and reading and following the Bible. Then everything else will unfold. :)

I can't teach you how to be a "good" Christian... I can't judge you, and won't judge you.

It's all between you and the Big Guy.  How close you are with him is all that matters.

The Bible is not meant to be interpreted literally though.

Yes I know, but reading it is the first step to understanding.

You might read something and not understand it until weeks or months later.

Well for me Christianity isn't a religion, it's a relationship with god.

Thanks for starting this thread, Reaction.  I've been a long time follower of KLive and now KTT, but just now decided to participate thanks to this topic.  I'm blessed to have found my relationship with Christ at an early age.  My parents are strong Christians, and so I heard about the gospel as a child.  I understood that I was a sinner and Christ had died on the cross to bury our sins.  I also realized that there was nothing I could do to reach salvation (good works, read the Bible, go to church, etc); however, since Christ died for our sins, we are all given a gift of eternal life.  I knew I could either ignore/reject the gift or accept it.  I of course accepted the gift by repenting to God that I was a sinner and choosing to follow Christ.  Since then I have tried to grow in my relationship with Christ by getting involved in church, reading the BIble, etc.. It wasn't really until college, that I really started to grow spiritually and understand my responsibility as a Christian.  As Christians we are supposed to grow in our personal walk with Christ as well as share with others the gospel.  To keep it short, I have really learned over the last few years that we are supposed to have an ACTIVE faith.  Whenever this is adopted, God can truly use us..

Anyways there is more detail to my testimony, but here is at least a summarized version...
