Has anyone else been invited to the US version of Spotify? I know the UK has had it for a while now, but I'm glad it's finally coming over here

I got my invite and actually have a few questions:
1. I ripped a CD of mine to my computer in .wav for lossless quality. That is the one CD that isn't showing up in my Spotify library. Is it because of the .wav format? Is there a away to get Spotify to recognize it?
2. Some of the songs in my library have white text and others grey. What is the difference?
