Who else is Deadwood?
They hired The Shield-actors as well, understandable since Sutter used to co-write.
Timothy Olyphant (Seth Bullock) stars in Justified
Dayton Callie (Charlie Utter) portrays Unser in Sons
Ray Mckinnon (Rev HW Smith) portrays the new US Attorney in Sons

much obliged

also are they worth watching or will they ruin the season for me?

I only watched the stabbing. I believe they're situated between season 3 and 4 so I doubt they'd ruin anything to come.
Great episode. I just hope and pray Hale gets his comeuppance...
They killed the undercover FBI agent , The Feds will be on their case this season, I just hope he didn't have a live wire, or check in with his handler before the meet...
Sons of Anarchy Roars to All-Time Ratings High

The brothers of SAMCRO have become big earners, indeed. FX's Sons of Anarchy opened its fourth season on Tuesday night with an audience of nearly 5 million total viewers, representing an all-time high for the biker drama. Within that tally, 3.22 million fell into the coveted 18-49 demo.

The show's previous record for a single episode was set by the Season 2 finale, which delivered 4.32 million viewers.

What's more, the SOA opener is likely to emerge as the most-watched single episode ever for any FX original series once Live+7 data is available.

"Last night's ratings are indicative of the passion the audience has for this wonderful show," FX president John Landgraf said in a statement. "Kurt [Sutter] has crafted one of the most compelling series on television, with the raw, blow-your-hair-back energy of a wide-open Harley and the subtle complexity of a great book."

But what does all of this mean for you, the viewer? Well, not that a blog posting is a a blood pact, but Sutter wrote the other day that if the premiere delivered a bump of 10 percent or more - and it was up 20 percent from the Season 3 opener - he would fly out two superfans to a private screening of Episode 10 at his house. (Tattoo parlor visit not included.)

i loved the premiere, season looks promising
Another good episode. It's nice to see Danny Trejo in a role where he isn't so menacing, at least as of yet.

All those scenes in the truck were cheesy, though. Those backgrounds were horrible.
episode was cool. was hoping some crazier shit would happen but still good
The second episode didn't disappoint. Gemma needs to cool it though.

4x03 - "Dorylus" Promo

If your referring to how Gemma acts about the drugs...gotta agree with her not liking it for the family. Just means more heat. Just like Elvis doesnt like it either.

BUT JEBUS....all those fuckin commercials during the show are gonna kill me. Considering not watching anymore and just dl all episodes when the season is over and watching them all at once.

I don't know how you guys in the US deal with the commercials! I downloaded one show with the commercials in once, I gave up after 15 mins....

Does anyone who watches this watch "The Shield" as well?

I saw The Shield before this. It's a comparable style but The Shield is (much) better imo. Sutter co-wrote The Shield as well.

Yep the shield was epic! Last season in Ireland touched the Shield's level of drama. And when I mention the shield I mean as a whole, from beginning to end, you can't really circle out a particular season, perhaps with regards to stand out episodes, however if you follow the story arc right to the end... Man!

The conclusion of The Shield is the best I've ever seen...

Same here, I don't rate it lower than The Wire. But The Shield's last season was just :mindfk:
