Can't wait till Tuesday, but then I have to wait a long time for season 5 :cryfam:
Dammit, it looks like I missed a really good one again. :facepalm2:
Finally up to date.
I dont think Clay will die for some reason.
i could see him letting clay leave and having him return in the last season

I'm afraid that's what's going to happen.
I think they should have ended the series on the 4th season, it was set up perfectly for it.

at this point think they shoulda just called it quits after season 3.

this season has made a mess of all the characters, they're not in line with their past selves at all, nothing makes sense.

once it's all over I'm gonna write a reflection on the season, hopefully Part 2 will fix some things. not that it really can at this point. awful season.

The first act of the finale was good.

Damn, now I don't want to watch the show until it completely finishes up (in case it horribly jumps the shark in the last seasons).
I don't know, I need to review this entire season when it's over, maybe I'm judging too harshly. The plot has simply felt out of step with what was established in past seasons. It's a shame because Jax vs. Clay (no spoiler, it's pretty omnipresent from the getgo) is basically the show's entire focus, and what made that work was the subtlety, Clay was morally ambigious, but clearly had a soul and cared about those close to him. Taking this season and just making him evil, evil, evil feels like such a cheap move and poor handling of what should have been the show's big moment.

Like I said, maybe I'll feel differently after a 2nd run through but the way this season was handled, unless things are miracously put back together in this conclusion, or next season, I feel like Sons, while still great entertainment, really damaged its greatest assets.

it was tense and entertaining, sure, but it's all resting upon a season that just doesn't make sense. He's stacked the finale, but it all came from stupid writing decisions that made shells out of the characters. The portrayals of Gemma and Clay this season are simply unbelievable.
See less See more
:fly: at the majority of this episode

That final scene was nice, though. I just wish Opie was there, even if Jax's explanation wasn't very convincing.
Very lackluster season finale tbh, was expecting a lot more.

yeah it wasnt anything like past finales, but it was a good finale none the less. ending was epic.
dont really have a problem with the character progression either. clay has been a bit over the top this season but sort of figured it would come to this. its been eluded to for the past 3 seasons..still jax is a total boss
The way I see it... this whole season was to set up next season.. waste of my time

lol well I actually ended up likin the finale

read these today, they made me excited for next season, some interesting stuff:

still disagree with the way Clay's turn was handled, but I'm happy with how it all ended up, so oh well. the concept of him at the table, but not at the head, is interesting, especially seeing as Sutter intends to put him in Piney's seat (ouch).

The finale was all over the place, just like this whole season. Sutter and the writers have made a lot of ridiculous decisions this year. The last episode was a game changer for sure, so I hope next year they'll get their shit together and deliver quality once again.
