Ugh, you're in the friend zone.    I hate that. 

But you should definitely go for it, man.  I think it's best to take an opportunity of this potential when it shows up, for or better or for worse.

I tried.  God knows I tried.  And it worked for a while, it really did.  But, after a month, I got sooo much hate for dating an intelligent, attractive white girl from my traditional all-black community (I went to a 95% white high school and I'm part white myself, so I never gave it second thought. )... So I, much to my regret, broke it off with her.   This was back during the tail-end of my junior year, and she hated me for a good while until maybe the end of the first semester of my senior.  I matured a lot during that time and began to care less and less of public perception, so I asked for her forgiveness and she forgave me wholeheartedly at that time.  She said she still considers me a friend.  I miss her.  :-/  But I doubt we'll ever be as close as we once were.

I had that same situation my junior year as well.  Tried to rebound after this hella-horrible situation I just described... I got dropped immediately---gently, though---but we're still very good friends.  I might just be godfather of her child. 

A good friendship can still be maintained even after you get dropped, if that helps you any.

Usually, if a girl likes you,it will be obvious. That's why I am nervous about you talking to her.

But you got close to her temporarily right? In that case, you weren't in the friend zone, she just didn't make up her mind/was fucking with you. There's a difference between that and a girl never seeing you in "that way", which is usually what the friend zone is, hence why people rarely get out of it.

She made up her mind, all right.  She decided to go back to her ex, who cheated on her no less than three times before they decided to marry.

Turrible. Sorry to hear that. You were never in the real friend zone though. The real "friend zone" is when a girl has no romantic interest in you whatsoever(and this won't change),and really just likes you as a friend. I think that's what we have here with Andre3k.

Oh, well, yeah...that's happened to me, too.  But we're not friends anymore.  I got tired of the playing.

Before I told you only tell her If your ready to deal with the possibility of you two never being the same again if it ends badly. I stand by that but in addition if you REALLY like her like what a previous poster said just trying hanging out with her only go to the movies go eat, do homework or whatever after spending time with her one on one. During these one on one sessions make her have fun to the point where she'll start asking you for ya'll to go out. This is when you tell her how you feel about her. Its going to be a process dont just except it to happen in a day or a week take time and make it happen. If this girl is worth it you wanna make it happen right so be patient and try hard but not too hard or be obvious for some reason girl dont like guys who try hard for some reason 

This ain't a bad strategy.  Wish it worked more often for me, but hey... That's why I'm me, and you're you, A3K.
