Sample Library Upgrade: Anyone used a SAS 12Gbps SSD like the 960GB MU 3.5"?

Trying to seriously upgrade my production setup and thinking about moving my massive sample library (drums, orchestral packs, all the GOOD sounds) off a regular SATA SSD onto a faster drive.
I'm looking at a SAS 12Gbps SSD 960GB-MU-3.5Inch for the speed and reliability. I know it's enterprise-grade and needs a special controller card, but the read/write speeds should mean zero loading lag for even the biggest Kontakt instruments.
Wondering if any other producers here have made a similar jump to SAS SSDs for audio? Was the performance gain noticeable enough to justify the hassle over a standard NVMe drive? Looking for that instant-load, "everything at my fingertips" workflow Ye's engineers probably have.
Thoughts? Or is this overkill for a home studio?
