RELEVANCY

Let's be honest, A lot of artist we like fade out all together


Not because they're gimmic artsit, but based on the fact we focus on their most gimmic-ish elements and drive it into the ground


  Waka Flocka fell off ( not completely )  because people became unethused about screaming waka
or bricksquad and creating memes based aroud him, they just gravited to other trap artist.
This happens to a lot of Trap artist, except for Trinidad james, He fell off because in every interview he acts like a little whiny fuck boy


  White rappers are hit with the same plague,Mgk makes room for yelawolf who makes room mac miller. Macklemores the only one who will be relevant in 5 years ( I assume )

Same thing with alt rappers, People get more focused on Gambino and Chance, and fade off from cudi and Lupe.


So the question is this, which rappers seperate their music from trends and and create something timeless. Which rappers will continue to create
new fans and not have to live off of their core fans or cult following.

By the way, Here's my guesses, but with this being said I still appreciate rappers who fade off and just become "time period" artist, not every one can stay relevant

Will drop off:

Asap Rocky    (In my top 5 btw)
Chance the rapper  ( best ep of all time but I can feel it )
