yeah i agree, Punk is almost dead now, it's kinda sad.

i listen to shit like

Of Mice & Men
A Day To Remember
Devil Wears Prada
We Came As Romans
Silverstein
ADTR is prolly the closest a metal-core band gets to Punk, considering their influences are from melodic and pop-punk bands like New Found Glory. Also TDWP goes off, saw them at a sold out show with Killswitch. The shit was bananas.

The old "Punk Goes" series actually used to have punk bands. And by punk bands I mean pop punk, and in some way shape of form they still have pop punk bands but it's gotten way worse.

I miss AFI, Strung Out, NFG, The Ataris, Aquabats, and Thrice on these things :/

That's cool.. I didn't get to see them that year, but I'll see them opening for a band I'm seeing in December so I'll see if I think he's any good.
Isn't one of the singers from "Of Mice & Men" The old screamer of Attack Attack? Or am I mistaken? If so has he also been replaced in Of Mice & Men, and if he has been replaced, all I have to say is, that guy has a hard time holding a job.

Yeah saw Gallows at warped last year, they put on an awesome show. And they also are kind of cross over, somewhere in between hardcore punk and metal. It's a nice sound.

Don't care for ADTR at all though, when really I should love them considering they take the best of both worlds (Metalcore & Punk) but they just don't do it for me. I prefer straight up metalcore bands to them for some reason.

Anti-Flag is another goodn' Currently I am waiting for December to roll around, The Adolescents are going to be playing a show in my city....and that is never going to happen again, so I need to get tickets soon.
