well they need to control the content they put out, until they do that than what can they do? producers need to stop whining and start forming collectives that only work with artist who work with them, instead of take there beats and horde them. And producers also need to start djing, so they can collab with an artist, and also dj there shows if they go on tour. That way they get payed more, and also get more recognition, and the experience will also be better, since both creators are working together not just in the studio, but on the road. The only way producers can get more recognition is by changing up the dynamic of the producer, and yes.. it does rely on the artist more - so, but if producers create a template for artist to follow than i feel like it will be easier for both parties.

just because metro makes beats in a studio doesn't mean he's using all the studio equipment. You have no idea what you're talking about. You can make the same quality from your bedroom as you can in the studio.
