So I'm new to this subreddit and have a question with the on going trends in print on demand shops like red bubble , printful, etc.

Basically would you consider buying a print on demand clothing item if it was really cool looking

like a sticker hellyea . definitely not clothes tho shits probably worse then printed on gildan. and i got dark nipples. them shits probbly like placing two napkins over my nipples youll see right through

What of like dropshipping...is that like the same thing or better/worse
Yea, for sure, I would consider buying it. If the print is cool, why not? It probably won't last long, but it's gonna look cool at the beginning.
I don’t know anything about dropshipping though… I’ve heard on tiktok that it’s some side hustle by reselling things, possibly?

Depends on price, if it's cheaper than actually high quality item but looks really cool then probably I'd close my eyes on lower quality(since we all know fabric quality on those services blows).
If it's same price as actually good quality item - no cool looking print would make me buy it, simple as.
I haven’t seen anyone turn a profit in POD in less than a year. Most take several years of steady slow growth. It's a tough field to enter.

We use www.sartomy.com to produce branded merch because we filled a very specific unserved niche, so I can't give too much advice about starting from scratch. But I think the key here is that one should not put any real money into something before testing the waters. There are ways to see whether there's a need for your idea.

I'm sorry if I wasn't able to answer your question but I hope this is still somewhat valuable.
