No Premo on the album

what about that interview with Sway? he never mentioned producers or DJ Premier... This articles quotes Premo himself saying the beat didn't make it on the album... I guarantee the tracklist is final, with the addition of maybe 2 more bonus songs...

yes the tracklist is almost final and this is what i've been saying these last days: the boom bap old school RAP album we were looking for since the end of 2009 and with all the hype growing in 2010 is NOT happening.
kanye's 5th album has turned into another graduation.

He's saying now  all these beats will be  on WTT with Jay-Z but the album will become another detox.


yes, i'm scared...i'm a big fan and we gotta wait til the album drops but...this is not the album i was waiting for...
i know how all the tracks are gonna sound..and i'm not feeling it at all.

and I understand Premier is annoyed.....is like WTF?if the beat is that good..why?

I completely agree... It seems as if earlier in the year he had a complete different album in the works... scrapped all that and put MBDTF together and then put the film together and it turned into something completely different... I'm not mad about that, well produced music is well produced music and I love MBDTF...

... but at the same time, I've been hyped all year thinking I'm gonna hear Kanye over some Pete Rock, DJ Premier, QTip, Madlib, RZA beats... So far, "Dark Fantasy" co-produced by RZA is one of the best joints on his album... Imagine what the album would have been with co-production from the rest of the producers named... I definitely feel that Watch The Throne will not happen... Monster and So Appalled were both meant for Watch The Throne, but I guess he saw that so many peopled love those songs that he decided to throw them on MBDTF (maybe a record label decision/suggestion) considering how well they did on the radio...

In a perfect world, the film would have been more effective with no dialogue at all, only sound and visuals... with some actual "boom bap" from co-productions with the likes of Pete, Premo, RZA, etc....

... it's times like this that I wish I was in Kanye's inner circle of creative consultants... ehh..
