I mean Ne-Yo ain't tryna be a rapper, he does this shit from time to time. All these singers turned rappers only do it for mixtapes, which I don't see a problem with. If they tried to release a retail rap album then yeah, fuck back in your lane. I personally like Trey's rapping, can't say the same for Chris. Ne-Yo is ight with it, his went in over A Milli a few years back and it was pretty cool.TBM said:Didn't know that
But still very few singers are good rappers, Drake is the exception but he isn't a great singer, and in the last few years every major singer has been trying to rap. Trey Songz, Chris Brown, Justin Bieber, and Ne-Yo. Just stick to your lane

Lets hope not. Like I said, I see no problem with them doing mixtapes or just random freestyles. It's all in fun. But when it comes to selling a product, you have to stay in your lane. Now, I don't see a problem with how Chris threw some rapping in minimally on F.A.M.E. Shit like that is ight, but a whole rap album..nah I'd hope they are smarter than that.TBM said:
