it's simple business, if you did really good to win over the consumers of a product to a point where there is no other competition then you won't deliver as good a quality product knowing you have no competition. With EA back, hopefully 2k steps their shit up.

but at the same time the way the market is structured its all about word of mouth and 2K won by having better ads , more NBA players , celebrities and having MJ all supporting their game

Cosign. 2K has gotten lazy as hell. They throw MJ on the cover and incorporate various Legends into their game and the masses lap it up, damn near ignoring how broken the gameplay is at times.
