lets go. im starting to get sick of rock and folk. too noisy. im in a bit of a funk right now and when im in a funk i like the serene and folk is quite serene and contemplative if you get my drift...so lets go. i want to see lists, and youtube links.

btw, i found out about first aid kit from 365 albums a year....

Co-sign the shit out of Avett Bros and Mumford and Sons. Make sure you get Timothy Avett as Darling albums, too.

Avett Brothers and Mumford and Sons are extremely cheesy. I would say "but that's just me", but it isn't, as I'm sure  more than several people understand where I'm coming from.

This is one of my favourite genres (indie folk/folk rock in general)

If you haven't heard it yet, I extremely recommend Robin Pecknold's (of Fleet Foxes) solo stuff under the alias White Antelope:
