Below is the condensed, tl;dr version of The Michael Young History Saga. Songs marked *title* indicate that only bits and pieces relate to the story, not the full track. For those certain songs, I've added the time of where the part of the story is..

1. Real Recognize Real aka Pills [from MTV2's My Block: Chicago] - The ancient and immortal entities, The Streets and The Game, are introduced as the "Bonnie & Clyde" type couple that reek havoc on the hearts and souls of power-hungry, fortune thirsty people.

2. He Say, She Say (ft. Sarah Green & Gemstones) [from Food & Liquor]
- Michael Young History is abandoned by his father, and his mother is left to raise her children by herself in the ghetto.

3. Kick, Push [from Food & Liquor]
- Little Michael picks up skateboarding at the age of 6 as an escape from his home life. He eventually meets his girlfriend who shares the same interest. As he grows older, he unites himself with a group of skateboarding misfits who are often hassled by police.

4. *I Don't Feel So Good* (ft. Matthew Santos) [from Fahrenheit 1/15 Part 3: A Rhyming Ape]
- @1:21 - MYH's older brother, a hustler, is shot and killed in front of their mother. To cope with the pain, she develops a drug addiction. She also becomes a stripper to fund her new habit.

5. Kick, Push II [from Food & Liquor]
- Lupe elaborates on the home lives that MYH and his friends were trying to escape from. MYH is forced to beg for money to feed himself and his baby sister, because their mother is to strung out on drugs to cook for them. MYH is ridiculed by the local drug dealers, and he initially shuns their lifestyle choice. MYH's girlfriend also has a hard life, living with domestic abuse and diseased parents.

6. Put You On Game [from The Cool]
- The Game steps in as MYH's only role model and teaches him the ways of the underworld.

7. Streets On Fire (ft. Matthew Santos) [from The Cool]
- The Streets happily awaits her new beau as her husband, The Game, trains him on the workings of the fast life.

8. *Just Might Be Okay* (ft. Gemstones) [from Food & Liquor]
- @1:39 - MYH's mom starts worrying when he begins to mimic the ways of his deceased older brother, but MYH assures her that everything will be fine.

9. DopeBoy Freestyle [from The Coolest Mixtape]
- MYH dabbles in drug dealing for the first time, but promises God that its only temporary.

10. Angels Remix Verses #1, #2 & Hook [from Enemy Of The State]
- The Game and The Streets work their magic on MYH, convincing him that everything he ever desired will come true if he gives them his full unwavering loyalty.

11. The Coolest [from The Cool]
- MYH falls madly in love with The Streets. He is the king of his hood, selling endless amounts of cocaine to buy whatever he wants, and he is convinced it will stay this way forever. He has an army of foot soldiers who grew up in the same circumstances as he did. Living under the "Money Over Bitches" motto, he knows women comes with the territory and breaks up with his long time girlfriend, abandoning their daughter to seek wealth and power instead. For proving his loyalty, he is rewarded with a gold chain, which is the key to the locket The Streets wears on her neck. Being that his first name is Michael, he earns the label and nickname "Cool". His death, and subsequent denial from Heaven and Hell, is foreshadowed.

12. Gotta Eat [from The Cool]
- The Game starts showing his ruthless side, by promising to bring the demise of MYH slowly and painfully, for having a love affair with his wife The Streets. Meanwhile, MYH is living the high life, with enough money and cocaine to last his (short) lifetime. On his rise to the top, he mistreated those who didn't have as much clout as him. He starts making enemies, and begins questioning whether he truly wants to reign on the throne. He goes to church to ask for help, and they recommend that he turn himself in. However this isn't an option for him, because The Game taught him to pay the police to keep them off his back.

13. Angels Remix Verse #3 [from Enemy Of The State]
- @2:45 - MYH starts realizing that The Streets isn't as angelic as she once claimed. He wants out.

14. *Hello/Goodbye (Uncool)* (ft. Unkle) [from The Cool]
- @1:52 - MYH's crew is jealous of his power and start plotting on how they can take his spot. MYH is anticipating the betrayal.

15. The Die (ft. Gemstones) [from The Cool]
- 1st verse - MYH starts hearing rumors that people are plotting to kill him, and there is a bounty awaiting anyone who can take the key to The Streets from him.

2nd verse - The character Gemstones plays hears of the bounty on MYH's head, and happily accepts the offer.

3rd verse - MYH's friend assures him that he has nothing to worry about, but eerily knows all the details of how the hitman plans on achieving the murder. MYH's friend once again reassures him that everything will be alright because of all the weaponry they have stashed as a precaution. The hitman goes on to list all the things he knows he needs to watch for in order to properly pull this thing off without a hassle. MYH's friend tells him about the good times he has planned that night, but the hitman already knows of these plans and is on their trail. After partying, MYH's friend tells him to pull over so he can use the bathroom, and leaves MYH with one final boost of confidence, "If some ****** do kill you in the next few minutes, just remember my *****, theres a Heaven for a G.."

Outro - Feeling very sure that he's safe as can be, MYH (now played by Gemstones) pulls over, and sits in his car waiting for his friend. While soaking in the glory of being "the coolest *****" and a "hustla for life", he is approached by the hitman and shot 6 times.

16. *Superstar 1st verse* (ft. Matthew Santos) [from The Cool]
- At the gates of Heaven, MYH is asked what good he has done while the more "famous and sexy" people are being allowed in. They are considered as such because their souls are far more pure than his, but he misunderstands why he is denied access and thinks its because he is "too uncool". He is told to go back to Earth and undo everything he's done, and he concludes that Heaven and Hell are both weighing equally as heavy on him.

17. The Cool [from Food & Liquor]
- Atleast 6 months after he was shot to death, MYH wakes up in his casket. Somehow, he still has possession of his prized gold chain, and he digs his way out of his own grave. The only part of his body that decayed completely is his right hand, symbolizing the withering of his righteousness. While riding the train back to his old neighborhood, he catches a glimpse of his new appearance but isn't bothered by it at all. The only thing he can think of is how he can regain his spot as the biggest drug dealer in his hood. After 2 kids fail to recognize him, they try to sell him crack but end up robbing him with the weapon that he was murdered by instead. They ask him if hes scared, and he replies by saying the opposite of what he believed during his lifetime, "Hustler for death, no Heaven for a gangsta.."

18. *Mean & Vicious* [from Fahrenheit 1/15 Part 2: Revenge Of The Nerds]
- @3:33 - Lupe hints at the possibility of MYH taking the gun from the kids, and using it to hunt down the people that killed him.

I disagree with where you have Put you on Game, it is DEFINITELY after MYH is dead. The game isnt being a role model, he's explaining that you cant beat the game, hence " i hope your bullet holes become mouths that say my name cause im the...". I imagine this scene being the Game talking to MYH as hes dying, i mean it comes directly after the die it makes the most sense.

the term "Put You On Game" itself literally means to teach something to someone tho...

PYOG bein directly after The Die was for album sequencing. most of the songs are scattered through Lupes whole music catalog, so i dont think he wouldve really cared to make sure The Die and PYOG were placed in correct order.

also, Lupe mentions several times in interviews that MYH is raised by The Game and introduces him to The Streets. if PYOG is placed after The Die, then there would be no point in the saga where The Game becomes MYH's role model in order to hand him over to The Streets.

im droppin Part 2 tomorrow, itll better explain the way i view the saga as a whole...

I see what you're doing with both Kick Push entries, but I don't necessarily agree with it. I don't think either of those songs are meant to be in the saga, but it's kind of like those toys you have when you're a kid that has the holes for a square, triangle, and circle. Sure you can put the circle block into the square hole, but that doesn't mean it's supposed to fit there.

not really. when i was lookin for songs that would fit in the story, the main criteria was internal struggle.

just like The Coolest starts wit, "I love the lord, but sometimes its like that I love me more.." the DopeBoy freestyle ends with "God, I really need a job, until a get a gig, Ill be givin work to the kids.."

the entire time, MYH is fightin within himself because he knows, deep down, that wat hes doin is wrong..

what mainly made me put KP and KP2 in it is that when MYH wakes up in his casket, he has a note from his little sister. besides KP2, there is no mention of her at all other than a vague reference on PYOG when The Game is braggin about takin their parents soul..

plus MYH havin a drug addict mother and a hungry little sister gives him incentive to wanna hustle..

I believe MYH is based on Lupe's life and those around him.
Definitely, I mean I didn't even hear "Michael Young History" at first when I just loosely listened to The Coolest, only heard "My Cool Young History", also there was an interview where this was addressed to Lupe and he didn't want to comment haha, so it's obvious that there is loose premise of his own life strewn throughout the saga.
