MBDTF should be called Kanye & Friends

This album is so plagued with features.

I like almost every feature artist, but a great album should be handled by one artist with the help of few artists. I don't care how great the verses are. Kanye should be doing them.

This album has more verses from other artists than Kanye himself. This is pathetic.

I'm ok with features that sing chorus. Graduation had only 1 feature verse. Kanye handled that album by himself. That's what Jay, Nas, Eminem do. I really like Rick Ross albums, but he can't handle an album by himself. This is the difference between a great rapper and and a good one.

I'm disappointed. I know this album will be good, but the quantity of features and the lack of Kanye's verse will take away from this album.

Question: Is Rick Ross officialy confirmed for DIAND?

Question2: Is there any confirmation on the bonus tracks?

EDIT: For those who say that LR has as many features as MBDTF.

I'm not really counting the number of features. I'm counting how many songs Kanye handled by himself. If a song has 1 or 2 guest verses is the same for me.

Let's see how many songs Kanye handled all the verses on LR.

I hope Gorgeous doesn't have Rae, Blame Game doesn't have Pusha and DIAND doesn't have Ross.

damn. this thread seriously made me realized how ungrateful Ye fans are. Problems after problems with shit.

-swizz is in appalled
- album cover sucks
- only 12 tracks
- Chain Heavy or Momma's Boyfriend are not on the album [to this day I still ask, WHEN THE FUCK DID YOU GUYS HEAR THE SONGS TO GET SO EMOTIONALLY HYPED UP!]
- GOOD Friday is really not on Friday
- ON AND ON AND ON

haha yeah, you're in a position to say that about a guy who has a forum that fans created, that fans like you participate in.

It's irrelevant what you think is a proper decision. He's the artist, we're the consumer, either we appreciate and support or we don't.

I wait till the album drops and then I assess my opinion on the final product. Do I like features? Sure, Kanye was always about giving back. It's nice to see kanye lyrically go up against other artist, on his own beats btw

once again, i took the average negative feedback from fans and listed them. I wasn't specifically referring to anyone.

Sure, you can disagree with whatever you like, and state your indifference with the artist. But at some point, there's a limit where it seems as you feel like the artist owes you something. You can't say he sucks with HIS DECISIONS. It's his artistic approach to his work, and most importantly they're a lot of fans that actually appreciate every DECISION HE has made, thus him having the ridiculous career he has.

Oh, as far as you rating a song based on lyrics, good for you.

But I CAN relate with being a kid of a single parent and the ridiculousness of bling in the hip-hop industry. That's why we want those tracks. That's why we're disappointed.

cool, fair point. But who says Chain Heavy won't be on his next album. Or maybe it will be a GOOD Friday track? I mean I fucking had to wait 3 years before I heard a mastered Bittersweet. Hey Mama was recycled, and Jesus Walks was a mixtape track.

All I'm saying give the dude a fucking break. Recently, the guy has been working tough to give us great hip-hop. I can honestly predict we will have another Kanye album by Spring. I just feel dude will be in and out of the studio. We as fans should appreciate the hard work rather than focus on the most insignificant of things.

you can appreciate someone's work and not necessarily be a fan of it. I appreciate Soulja Boy hustling and everything he's done for himself as an artist. But you'll never find a soulja boy track in my iTunes.
