I though about this for a good 10 minutes and got me sick....
I was at McDonald's and I thought, how many people are ordering the same thing right now ? So I checked the number of McDonald's in the world approximately... There is 30.000 McDonald's restaurants in the world, as I've worked there last summer I saw in the freezer the number of bags of 100s of steaks.
Let's say there is a 1.000 steaks in each McDonald's restaurants for one week (it's obviously more, but let's keep it simple even if it's not realistic)
That's 30.000.000 steaks each week
And this only take in account McDonald's; now add Burger King and all fast food and regular restaurants, add all the supermarkets of the world.... This made me
Now add all the other type of meat : chicken, sheep, lamb, bison.... That's insane !!! 
And even with this insane production of meat, and food there's still 800.000.000 people straving in the world...
Now that you know, wold you still eat this delicious piece of meat ?
