I was just checking his production and writing credits for Yeezus, and the thought came to me what does this ***** actually do nowadays? He really has turned into Diddy, half of Yeezus was wrote by Cyhi and the most lyrical track on the album was written by Rhymefest(which is no surprise given their history). Kanye is Diddy for hipsters, less swag, more pretentious, and less important in the grand scheme of Rap, but more important in pop culture.

No one can deny it though. If you're a rapper, your not suppose to have so many other rappers co writing songs with you, but then again most of you stand don't understand the culture.

Kanye >> Diddy clearly, but I lowkey kind agree, he's on this minimalist thing, but his credits are fucking huge, you would have thought minimalist would have extended to not relying on loads of people around him.

Dr dre is probably the better example, but then again i don't see people calling Dre a top 5 rapper like i see them calling Kanye, you can't be a top 10 or even top 20 rapper, when most of your shit i co written, even all the way back to Graduation days there was rumours of Rhymefest co writing his tracks, and Consequence has said he penned Kanye a few tracks as well.

If your an elite rapper, why do you need grade a nobodies to pen you're lyrics for you, at least Dre and Diddy admit their roles in the way they make music.
