lol i don't think kim is good at all, the only song i think is really creative by Eminem is Stan. Jay-Z has songs like Momma Love me where he uses his family as a metaphor for the streets, and dissing God on songs then denying it on another song is stupid, yet witty  :smug:
Not that it's a better song, but Jay Z never jumped to the depths eminem did in Kim. Eminem is more versatile, Jay Z just does what he does very well.

well to be fair Jay-Z's life revolved around going from dealing crack to becoming one of the most successful people in America. Eminem's life had more bullying, anger, dysfunctional relationships, which kind of explains why his music is different than most peoples
You're right, you're right now telling me they are 2 different rappers, which is true. However you can compare their rap when the theme is about their life. Jay Z  and Eminem do those themes heavily, both also created characters for themselves (Hova and Slim Shady). Where they differ is the emotional level- which eminem is more creative in, and therefore has more ranging songs.

character/gimmick slim shady is more creative then HOVA obviously. Though lyrically i find Jay more creative with all the double entendres, hidden meanings/references, and metaphors. Eminem's music doesn't require as much effort imo
Quite the opposite, best example I can think of this is 97 Bonnie & Clyde where Eminem talks about murdering his wife while taking his daughter to dump the body. He has to rap in such a way, that he has to keep in mind he's speaking to a 3 year old.
