I honestly think Jay finds it hard to put real emotion into his music.. Track-by-track, on a typical Jay-Z album there will be less emotionally-driven lyrics than on a typical Kanye album... Obviously, Jay has songs like "Lost Ones", "American Dreamin'", "Moment of Clarity", "Can I Live" and "Regrets" etc. etc. that are very emotionally driven but Kanye has a new level of pathos in his writing. that really connects to the listener... I think the fact that Kanye was never a gangster rapper allows him more freedom in the emotion-expression department though (look at Common). That Music Producing Kid said:Where the fuck are the Kanye fans at,I swear, sometimes this doesn't feel like a Kanye west fansite, people are scared to say anything bad about Jay Z and don't admit that Kanye is being controlled way too much.why are you all standing for this shit?
