Is music loosing is “essence”?

Music is a subjective form of art and its essence is interpreted differently by different people. Some might argue that modern music has lost touch with its roots and has become too commercialized, while others might argue that music has evolved and is now more diverse and inclusive. Ultimately, whether or not music has lost its essence is a matter of personal opinion.
