I have it so bad sometimes, and then I pass out in the AM and sleep way later than I would ever want.

Should probably just invest in medical marijuana.

Though I blame most of it on my eating cycle. Sometimes I eat too late and I get mad gassy at night.

Exercise is the best thing. It helps more than anything to naturally make you feel tired at night. If that doesn't work you can try melatonin, probably the safest sleep aid, still not recommended if you can fall asleep on you're own though.
