When importing the Watch the Throne CD to iTunes:

Should I use AAC, AIFF, Apple Lossless, MP3, WAV Encoder? And why?
Should I use High Quality (128 kbps) or iTunes Plus setting? And why?
Should I keep the MP3 (320 kbps) or go with the AAC (lower bit rate)? And why?

If someone with advanced music knowledge could just explain all this the best they can that'd be awesome. I just don't understand why AAC is considered higher quality than MP3 if the MP3 has a higher bit rate than the imported AAC. I used AAC encoder and iTunes Plus setting. Also, I heard that the Apple Lossless Encoder is the highest quality. Is this true?

Thanks Kanyetothes

nothing beats fully lossless (ALAC for itunes)
but you could always go for the 256kbps AAC which is the itunes plus setting i think, it has better sound quality than a full 320kbps MP3.

Thanks. Is the ALAC the Apple Lossless Encoder?

Wav is the best. It also has the biggest file sizes. Aif is pretty much the same as wav, but it lets you add covers and such. These "lossless" options are good too, but since filesize is no issue these days, it's hard to come up with reasons for altered file sizes.
