If that means he can get music out, and finally be out of the grasp of Atlantic. Seriously guys some of you are pretty stupid if you are crying over 'The Show Goes On' sounding too mainstream. Shut up. Go listen to some garage band music if you pride yourself in being indie or whatever the fuck. Lupe isn't lyrically devoid, rapping about negative stuff, or being superficial. This is probably one of the compromises he had to make. He has to make one MARKETABLE song in order for Atlantic to invest capital in him and see him turning a profit. I could deal with an autotune collab album with Ke$ha if it meant that he could finish his contract and then go make F&L II. The Show Goes On isn't even close to that though. It is still Lupe. No we aren't getting Lupe's Lasers, we are getting Atlantic's Lasers, but guess what it is being one step closer to what we want after a two year stalemate.
