Trippin, to date the Metal Fellow been rippin flows
since New York plates was ghetto yellow with broke blue writing
This is too exciting
Folks leave out the show feelin truly enlightened

What's your question exactly? It's rather straight forward as DOOM goes.

He's been doing it well since the 70's. His flow is smooth, he knows it, speaks on it too often but declares that he's one to teach his audience through the use of engaging material everywhere in NY from Bronx to Brighton.

Those plates ARE so useful. Thanks so much-- that's exactly the kind of feedback I was looking for.

It's just a basic "lyrical analysis"-- I was chosen these couple of lines from "Raid" (our group is analyzing that song).

Huge fan of Madvillainy. Was just curious if you guys had some specific opinions.

that's also straightforward, imo. since doom considers himself a villain, and with that, ppl compare his rhymes to "lightning" that shock the whole new york.

also, a reference to king geedorah (one of his alter egos, u mayknow)

It's a Raid on the rap game, this isn't your part but it seems like DOOM's version of the 'coming for the biters/challengers' jawn. He's got guns drawn, flaunting rhyming ability throughout the song. The entire thing being delivered at a podium as a speech, he's an orator in the first section and throughoput in some capacity. It's rather hard to follow.

Anybody have some analysis for this?

"Two two one-two...
How Doom hold heat, and preach non-violence?
Shhh, he 'bout to start the speech, c'mon, silence
On one scary night, I saw the light
Heard a voice that sound like Barry White said 'Sure you're right'
Don't let me find out who tried to bite
They better off goin to fly a kite in a firefight
during tornado time with no coat then I caught ya
Wrote the book on rhymes, a note from the author
With no headshot, he said it's been a while
Got a breadwinner style to get a inner child up in to smile
And that's no exaggeration
The doctor told a patient 'It's all in your imagination *****'
Ahh, what do he know?"
