When I saw the Return of 4Eva tour in Chicago, Jackie Chain was one of the openers. I don't know if he was on the full tour or not, but yeah. Wasn't really a fan of his set at all, and I'd only heard of him through that Cudi joint and Mike Posner's Smoke & Drive with Big Sean and Donnis.
So idk about Bun, but it's not that weird that KRIT is doing some work with him.
